When exporting transactions to a CSV file from the Dashboard, the report will now include category sub-totals for each payment category (membership, event, donation, cart, other, handling, tax). This will improve reporting for payments that include items from different categories (for example, a Forms/Carts/Donations payment that contains both a cart and donation items).

You can now classify an item as a membership or event payment under Forms/Carts/Donations. This gives you more flexibility to use Forms/Carts/Donations while allowing payments to be reported under the appropriate payment category. Note that an item classified as a membership payment will not update the member’s membership level or renewal date.

When manually recording membership payments in member’s Timelines, MembershipWorks will now detect if a payment is for current membership dues and automatically update the member’s renewal date and apply the renewal actions (if applicable). A notification will let you know if the renewal date is updated and if any renewal actions were applied.
