How MembershipWorks is Better than Springly
- Cheaper pricing per account. Both MembershipWorks and Springly offer a free plan. MembershipWorks pricing starts at $35/mo for 300 accounts while Springly starts at $45/mo for 250 contacts. By default, MembershipWorks does not count your donors towards your account limit (although this is an option). Springly, on the other hand, does count each donor as a contact. If you have many non-member donors, you may end up on a significantly higher plan with Springly than you would need as a MembershipWorks customer.
- You don’t have to use iFrames. Unless you use Springly’s proprietary website builder, you will need to use iFrames to integrate Springly features into your current website. Springly iframe widgets come with limitations, such as no CSS inheritance (automatically matching your website’s theme). In general, using iFrames for your membership features can slow down your website’s page load speed, create a disjointed user experience, and hurt your website’s SEO. Together these issues can result in a slow and clunky website that doesn’t rank high in search results.
- More income-generating features. Nonprofits such as chambers of commerce, networking groups, associations, clubs and others will find more features that meet their needs. Springly customers miss out on these MembershipWorks features that can generate non-dues revenue and increase member retention:
